Nepal has registered its first win in the Central Asia Volleyball Association (CAVA) Cup men's volleyball tournament underway in Bangladesh.

Nepal registered its first win in the tournament by defeating Maldives 3-0 in its third match on Friday at the Indoor Hall in Dhaka, Bangladesh. With this win, Nepal has collected 4 points from three matches.

Nepal won the first set of the match 25-21 against Maldives and lost the second set 25-23. Similarly, they won the third and final set 25-18 in their favor.

Nepal had lost to Turkmenistan in the first match and Bangladesh in the second match. Nepal will play its fourth match against Afghanistan on the 9th in the tournament that will continue till Kartik 11.
