Nepal is set to participate in the 'Hong Kong Sixes' tournament organized by the Hong Kong Cricket Association. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) today announced a seven-member Nepali team under the captaincy of Sharad Veshavkar for the tournament to be held from November 7 to 9.
CAN captain Sharad is joined by Sandeep Jora, Lokesh Bam, Bashir Ahmed, Adil Ansari, Rashid Khan and Rupesh Singh. Twelve different nations, including Nepal, will participate in the tournament. Nepal has been divided into four groups and is in Group 'A'. Nepal's group includes South Africa and Afghanistan.
Similarly, Group 'B' includes Australia, England and UAE, Group 'C' includes India, Pakistan and Kuwait, while Group 'D' includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Hong Kong. Each match in this tournament will be of equal six/six overs, and there is a provision that six players can play in a team.
