Nepal defeated Oman by 38 runs in the Super Six of the Twenty20 World Cup Asia-East Asia Pacific Qualifiers on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 152 runs, the home team Oman could only score 113 runs for the loss of 9 wickets at the Al Emirate Cricket Ground in Muscat.

This is Nepal's third consecutive win in the Super Six. Oman suffered its first defeat in the tournament. Nepal now has 8 points, while Oman has 6 points. If Nepal defeats Samoa in the final match on Friday, it will win the tournament.

Nepal and Oman had qualified for the World Cup before entering the field after two results of the day's matches went in their favor.
