Nepal has qualified for the Twenty20 World Cup for the second time in a row. Both Nepal and Oman have booked their tickets for the Twenty20 World Cup before playing the Asia-East Asia Pacific Qualifier Super Six match against Oman on Wednesday.

Nepal and Oman have qualified for the Twenty20 World Cup after getting favorable results in both matches of the tournament being held in Muscat, Oman on Wednesday.

After Qatar defeated Japan by 3 wickets and UAE defeated Samoa by 77 runs, Nepal and Oman reached the World Cup for the second time in a row. In 2023, Nepal and Oman reached the World Cup by remaining in the top two positions in the Asia Qualifier held in Kathmandu. 

Nepal has reached the Twenty-20 World Cup for the second time in a row. In 2014, Nepal opened the door to the Twenty-20 World Cup from Bangladesh. Nepal played the World Cup in America and West Indies last year while returning to the Twenty-20 World Cup after 10 years. Twenty-20 World Cup has started since 2007 . Nepal has been playing its selection since 2007. 

The 10th edition of the 20-nation ICC Twenty20 World Cup is being held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8. Nepal and Oman are the 18th and 19th countries respectively to be selected for the upcoming edition. India and Sri Lanka have been directly selected for the Twenty-20 World Cup due to being the host countries.

Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, America, West Indies from last year's Twenty-20 World Cup and Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan from the ICC ranking secured their place in the global event to be held in India and Sri Lanka. 

In the regional selection, Canada from the American region, Netherlands and Italy from Europe and Zimbabwe and Namibia from Africa reached the Twenty-20 World Cup. The tournament in Oman will determine one more team that will qualify for the Twenty20 World Cup. It has the possibility of UAE, Samoa, Qatar and Japan . 

Nepal will play the final match of Super Six against Samoa on Friday. If Nepal defeats Oman and Samoa in the last two matches, Nepal will win the title of Twenty-20 World Cup Asia-East Asia Pacific Qualifier.
