Nepal has won the Unity Cup Twenty20 international series against the West Indies with an unbeaten lead of 2-0. Nepal defeated West Indies by 90 runs in the second match on Monday at Sharjahan Cricket Stadium in Sharjahan, UAE.
After winning the toss, Nepal scored 173 runs after losing 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs with the half-centuries of Asif Sheikh and Sandeep Zora. Adil Alam, who is returning to international cricket after three years, took 4 wickets and in reply West Indies were bowled out for 83 runs in 17.1 overs.
For the first time, Nepal has succeeded in winning the series itself by playing a Twenty-20 international series with a Test-recognized nation. Nepal defeated the two-time Twenty20 world champion West Indies by 19 runs in the first match on Saturday, which was Nepal's first win against a fully Test recognized nation.
After Kushal Bhurtel and Gulshan Jha took 2 wickets each from Nepal, Nepal managed to get an incredible victory over the West Indies, who ruled the world cricket for a while. Adil took 4 wickets by spending 24 runs in 4 overs. Bhurtel took 1 maiden in 2.1 overs and took 3 wickets at the cost of 16 runs. Dipendra Singh Airi, Karan KC, Lalit Rajvanshi took 1 wicket each. 
Jason Holder from West Indies scored 21 runs in 15 balls with 2 sixes. Ekim Augusti scored 17 with 1 four and a six off 21 balls and Amir Jango scored 16 runs off 14 balls with 1 four and a six. Others could not make double scores .
Earlier, Asif and Sandeep shared 100 runs in 66 balls for the fourth wicket, Nepal managed to make a good score against West Indies . Opener Bhurtel 2 and captain Rohit Paudel were out in 3 runs. After Kushal Mall scored 7 runs in 9 balls and was run out in the non-strike end, the pair of Asif and Sandeep froze.
Asif scored his eighth and Sandeep his fourth fifty in Twenty20 internationals. Sandeep played 39 balls and scored 63 runs by hitting 3 fours and 5 sixes. Asif remained unbeaten on 68 runs off 47 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes.
Gulshan hits 1 six and gets out for 6 runs . Alam hit 1 four and a six and was dismissed for 11 runs. Nepal added 65 runs in the last 5 overs. West Indies captain Aqeel Hussain took 21 wickets in 4 overs and Kyle Myers took 2-2 wickets with 26 runs in 2 overs. Jedih Blades got 1 wicket.
