On Tuesday, tributes were paid to cricketer Sulabraj Shrestha, who lost his life during the Gen-G movement.

Nepal National and International Sports Association and Nepal Sports Journalist Forum jointly organized a program organized by the National Sports Council (Rakhep) in Tripureshwar.

Rakhep member secretary Tanklal Ghising, Rakhep executive committee member Bhan Bahadur Chand, member Jagatsingh Dhami, players association president Deepak Shrestha, Sports Journalist Forum president Niranjan Adhikari, Olympian association president Deepak Bisht, players, media personnel and others paid emotional tribute to Sulabh. Suman from Banke is a district level player. He was in the capital for studies. 

On the same occasion, Sulabh and all those who received support during the Gen-G movement were kept silent. During the protest, the injured football player Pawan Shahi was wished for a speedy recovery.
