Triveni Yuva Club is going to organize an international invitational knockout football tournament to raise the identity of Jamirgarhi to a higher level. Vidursinh Khawas, president of the club, informed that 8 teams, 6 from Nepal and 2 from India, will participate in the tournament until October 11. According to him, 8 teams including Triveni Yuva Club, Manevnjang Darjeeling (India), Jhapa FC, Brother FC, Belbari Football Club, Sainik Football Club, Redhorse Elam and UKFC Kursong (India) will participate. Club president Khawas said that the winner of the
competition will receive two lakhs in cash, a trophy, a medal and a certificate, while the runner-up will receive one lakh in cash, a trophy, a medal and a certificate. Organizers have estimated that 21 lakhs will be spent to conduct the competition. Manish Gahatraj, secretary of the club, said that the competition will be conducted by seeking the support of industrialists-businessmen, factory owners, ward offices, municipalities, etc.
