Yoongi Poudel of Hope won gold in the Junior U-19 Girls Singles of the 3rd Kalyan Pandey National Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Tournament.

Yoongi defeated Sushmita Khadka of Stag Champions Table Tennis Academy by 6-11, 11-6, 13-11, 2-11 and 11-9 in the finals held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur. AVM's Asma Pahri and The Dragons' Diya Deula won bronze.

AVM's Jaysnu Maharjan and Prajil Bhattarai confirmed the title clash in the junior U-19 boys singles tournament organized by the All Nepal Table Tennis Association and sponsored by the Shashi-Kalyan Welfare Fund.

In the cadet U-15 boys singles, Reason Shakya of Yal became the first. In the final, he defeated Arnav Shrestha of Yala in sets of 11-4, 14-12 and 11-5. Suvin Chhetri of Rupandehi and Sanskar Shrestha of Yal became third. AVM's Arsana Maharjan won gold in the girls category of the event. Arsana beat Shriya Shakya of AVM in the final with 6-11, 11-5, 11-9 and 11-9 sets. AVM's Tyabungma Rai and Hope's Imreen Maharjan came third. The competition will end on Friday.
