Durga Bahadur Budha from Rukum West has won the Musikot Heritage Run competition title. He became the first by covering a long distance of 28 km in 1 hour 52 minutes 47 seconds.
Among the 23 participants in this competition organized by Rapti Sahitya Parishad Rukum Paschim on Thursday, Pancharam Budha of Sisne-4 Rukum East finished second in 1 hour 57 minutes 46 seconds and Shaktiram Ro of Bhume Rural Municipality-3 Rukum East finished third in 2 hours 1 minute 39 seconds.
Also, Bhuvan KC of Rukum West achieved the consolation position by crossing the prescribed distance in 2 hours 6 minutes 36 seconds and Vishal Tamang of Bhojpur in 2 hours 10 minutes 35 seconds. Organizer Purna Bahadur Oli said that the winner of the first place in the
competition will be awarded a certificate with 25,000 cash, the second place winner will receive a certificate with 20,000 cash, the third place winner will receive a certificate with 15,000 cash, and the 2 consolation place winners will receive a certificate with 5,000 cash and all participants will receive a certificate with 1,000 cash. The
run competition started from the temple complex of Digre Shaikumari Bhagwati, a historical religious site located at Musikot-5 in Rukum West, Janti Olappe Lake, Jumle Pondi, Big Dah, Bari Dah and Sankh and finished at the same place.
