Lamachaur Cup Volleyball will be held from Sunday to August 10. There will be various musical and cultural events including volleyball. Inter-school girl volleyball has also started from Saturday.
6 teams have participated in the open men's volleyball tournament, namely the organizer, APF Pokhara, Krishnadal Phoolbari, GM Samaj, Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality Sports Development Committee and Dhungedeurali Club Syangja.
On Saturday, 11 teams from different schools participated in girls' volleyball. Pokhara Expert Education Lamachaur Cup Inter Mavi Girls' Volleyball on Saturday Sarjan, Tops, Shanta and Pokhara United Mavi have reached the semifinals. Srijana will face Tops and Shanta will face Pokhara United.
The men's volleyball winner will receive 3 lakh and the runner-up will receive 150,000. The girl volleyball winner will get 1 lakh and the runner-up will get 50,000.
