The names of 150 players will be included in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) auction to be held on Saturday. The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) announced on Wednesday that it has shortlisted the players for the final auction from the 458 players who applied for the second edition of the NPL.

Pawan Sarraf, Mohammad Adil Alam, Arjun Saud, Dilip Nath, Dev Khanal, Sharad Bheshavkar, Surya Tamang and Sunam Gautam are 8 players in 'A' category. Pawan did not participate in the first edition last year due to injury.

Adil, who was accused of spot-fixing in the Nepal Twenty-20 League three years ago, was approved by CAN to play in the national tournament only last month. Vetran Sharad was released by Chitwan Rhinos, Arjun and Surya by Lumbini Lions, Dilip and Sunam by Pokhara Avengers and Dev Khanal by Karnali Yaks. 

There are 35 players in the 'B' category and 107 players in the 'C' category. Akash Tripathi, Ashutosh Ghirohia, Anil Kharel, Arjun Kumal, Avinash Karna, Vasant Khatri, Bhuvan Karki, Bipin Rawal, Darshan Sunar, Deepak Bohra, Deepesh Shrestha, Durgesh Gupta, Harishankar Sah, Hemant Dhami, Khadk Bahadur Bohra, Krishna Karki, Shankar Rana, Mausam Dhakal, Mayan Yadav, Milan Bohra, Narayan Joshi, Pradeep Airy, Prithu Baskota, Prajwal Thapa, Rabindrajung Shahi, Ravi Sah, Sahil Patel, Santosh Karki, Rit Gautam, Santosh Yadav, Sher Malla and other players are in 'B' category.
