Sancharika Group Nepal Makwanpur has honored Samba with 50,000 rupees by organizing a program called 'Desh Chinaune Sang Haur Chinjan' in Hetaunda. Samba was presented with a certificate of appreciation along with cash by Rajesh Baniyan, Deputy Mayor of Hetaunda Sub-Metropolitan City, Puran Bahadur Joshi, Principal of Hetaunda School of Management, Prazia Skim Shrestha and Nisha Gurung, President of Sancharika Group Makwanpur. 

In the program with significant participation of football players, Samba said that discipline, perseverance and determination will guide people towards success. I still have a long way to go. I want to see more people playing football like me. A favorable environment is necessary for this,' she said. Samba recently signed with Wellington Phoenix Football Club in New Zealand. The club has signed her for the new season of Australian A-League women's football. 

Previously, she played for France's En Avant Guengamp club. She returned to Nepal 2 months ago after completing her journey with the club. She has represented Nepal by participating in various leagues in Israel, India, Maldives and other countries. Deputy Mayor Baniyan said that the contribution of Savitra, one of the highest scorers in the history of Nepali women's football, has inspired the country's sports sector. .
