Nepali sepaktakro players have won 1 gold and 1 silver medal in the 38th ISTF World Championship. Nepal won gold in mixed quad and silver in men's regu.

According to Netra Prasad Gurung, President of Nepal Sepaktacro Association, Roshan Tamang (captain), Sumitra Dangol, Niru Thapa Magar, Padam Thada Magar and Rajan Nepali competed in the mixed quad. Chinese Taipei came second and Bangladesh third.

Sujan Thing and Sanam Purjamgar along with Roshan, Padam and Rajan played in the regu of the competition in Thailand. Chinese Taipei won gold in this event.
