Nepal won the SAFF Women's U-20 Championship for the third time on Thursday. Nepal defeated Sri Lanka 7-0 in the match at Basubandhara Sports Ground in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
This is Nepal's third victory in the
competition and with this, Nepal has nine points from four matches. Earlier, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka 7-0 in the ongoing double round robin tournament.
In Nepal's win this time, Samsika Magar did not score two goals . Similarly, Purnima Rai, Kusum Khatiwada, Sarita Nath and Virshana Chaudhary scored one goal each. Another goal was suicide.
