Cricketer Arif Sheikh has become the brand ambassador of Caspian College. An agreement was signed between Arif and Caspian College on Sunday. Arif and college principal Manish Pandit signed the agreement.

Pandit said the agreement was for 1 year. However, the financial aspect of the deal has not been disclosed. Arif, who is a resin model of the young generation, said that he made an agreement by opening the way for the college students to prepare them in many ways when the mentality of how many full marks have been taken has taken root.

"Cricket has taught me a lot including confidence, such a deal will give me more confidence and inspire me to play better," said Arif after the deal with Caspian. Along with the agreement with Arif, the college also wants to organize a college cricket tournament in the future. Nepal Cricket Association member Sudeep Sharma thanked Caspian College for signing cricket players.

Arif had a great performance in Dundee during the recent tour of Scotland. Arif played match-winning innings of 78 and 84 runs respectively against the Netherlands when Nepal won 3 out of 4 matches with an incredible performance in World Cup Cricket League 2. Similarly, he scored 7 and 39 runs respectively against Scotland.

Arif, who was not in Nepal's Twenty-20 World Cup team in America and West Indies last year, got to play in the last two matches of the tri-nation Twenty-20 series in Glasgow. He was retired on 39 off 25 balls in a 6-wicket win against the Netherlands.

Arif has also been included in the 32-member Nepali team for the Asia and Asia-Pacific qualifiers for the Twenty-20 World Cup to be held in Oman in October. In this regard, he said, 'In the coming days, I will make full use of the opportunities I get in the Twenty20.' Only Rohit Paudel (1851), his brother Asif Sheikh (1569) and Kushal Bhurtel (1398) have scored more runs in ODIs than Arif.
