Distribution of awards to international medal winning players, coaches and managers by the Prime Minister

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has today given honors and awards to the players and associated coaches and managers who won medals in various international competitions.

In a program organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar, Prime Minister Oli presented a certificate with a cash prize of Rs 65 lakh to Vijay Sinjali, the bronze medalist in the third Thaulo World Cup organized by the Japan Usu Taiji Federation from November 7 to 12.

On the same occasion, silver medal winner Arjun Nepali along with silver medalist Arjun Nepali was given a prize of three lakhs in the 'Kava U-20' men's volleyball championship organized by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Association from October 20th to 26th. According to the provisions of the National Sports Development Regulations, 2079, they were given honors and cash prizes by the decision of the Council of Ministers meeting on June 9.  

In addition, Prime Minister Oli congratulated and welcomed the team including Bipin Prasad Sharma who succeeded in winning the title by beating Singapore in the 'ACC U-16 East Zone Cup' cricket tournament held in Malaysia from June 8 to 21. In the

program, Prime Minister Oli said that he has given high priority to the development of the sports sector and expressed his belief that success will be achieved if he can enjoy the world of sports with dedication and dedication. 

'It hasn't been long since we organized the sports field. Now the government has given high attention to the development of the game and now the players have moved forward professionally,' said Prime Minister Oli, 'I thank and congratulate the players, coaches and others who have contributed to raise the profile and reputation of the country.'

Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Choudhary said that the government has allocated almost twice the budget for the next financial year than this year and the sports sector of the country is excited as the cricket ground being built in Kirtipur is nearing its final stage.
