In the knockout stage of the FIFA Club World Cup, Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal won against Manchester City by 4-3.
Al-Hilal, who is also the runner-up of Group H, won against City in the Round of 16 match at Camping World Stadium.
Manchester City under the coach of Pep Guardiola took the initial lead. City captain Bernardo Silva scored in the 9th minute with an assist from Ilkay Gundogan.
In the 45th minute of the game, Marcos Leonardo, the striker of Al-Hilal, scored a goal and tied the game. Similarly, in the 52nd minute, Malcolm's goal with Joao Cancelo's assist made Al-Hilal 2-1.

In the 104th minute, City's mid-fielder Mathis scored with an assist from Ryan Cherki to equalize the game. Marcos Leonardo, the striker of Al-Hilal, scored the fourth goal for the team after half time of extra time. His personal second goal became decisive for the game and Al-Hila registered the victory.
Manchester City is in first place among the 4 teams in Group G of FIFA Club World Cup 2025. Similarly, Al-Hilal is in the second place of Group H. City have been eliminated from the FIFA Club World Cup after losing 4-3 to Al-Hilal.
