With the impressive performance of openers Kushal Bhurtel and Arif Sheikh, Nepal easily defeated the Netherlands by 6 wickets on Thursday.

After playing three super overs against the Netherlands in the previous match, Nepal took revenge. Nepal completed the target of 175 runs two balls ahead.

In the last over, Nepal needed 7 runs to win. Arif Shaikh retired hurt on the last ball of the 19th over. Lokesh Bam, who came in his place, hit two sixes in the last over and gave Nepal the win. Lokesh, who hit Zach Lion's first ball for a six, played a two-ball dot and hit the fourth ball again for a six .

The Dutch team won the match against Scotland by 17 runs on Wednesday. Scotland won their first match against the Netherlands by 39 runs. Nepal will now play against Scotland on Friday.
