30 players have been selected for the U-20 South Asian Football Association (SAF) Women's Championship football tournament to be held in Bangladesh from June 27 to July 6.
For this tournament, Nepali team's head coach Yamaprasad Gurung selected 30 players after eliminating 10 players from the second round of closed training. 40 players participated in the first phase of closed training. The players who will be selected from
training are Anisha Rai, Asmita Gurung, Varsha Oli, Bhavana Pariyar, Birsana Chaudhary, Ganga Rokaya, Jhuma Vishwakarma, Juna Tamang, Leela Joshi, Manisha Sen, Maya Maske, Meena Deuba and Kavita Gurung.
Similarly, Karuna Budhathoki, Kusum Khatiwada, Leela Chand, Purnima Rai, Poonam Chemjong, Sajina Syangtan, Samishka Magar, Sanima Maya Lo, Sarita Kumari Nath, Semihangma Limbu, Senu Periyar, Simran Rai, Sita Rokaya, Sujata Tamang, Sukriya Mia, Sushila KC and Rupa Limbu. Amita Bhul, Sunita Vick, Sunita Sunar, Pratima Sharma, Marina Lama, Avani Rajeshwari, Gayatri Malla, Rosita Bishta, Savita Mandal and Sangeeta Adhikari have left the training.
