Bagmati Province won the title of 15th Central President Running Sports Competition on Friday. Bagmati became the overall team champion of 7 provinces with 36 gold, 7 silver and 11 bronze.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and organized by the National Sports Council (Rakhep), the champion of the previous edition, Sudurpaschim Province, was limited to the second place . A total of 1.2 million cash prizes were distributed for each medal of the 6 games included.

Praveen won gold in 100m race, 200m race, 4x100m and 4x400m relay . Anisha stood first in long jump, triple jump, 4 times 100 and 4 times 400 meters relay . Anisha also won 1 more silver in the 400m race .

Sudurpaschim finished second with 7-7 gold, silver and bronze. Third place Gandaki bagged 3 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze .

Karnali won 3 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze and Lumbini won 1 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze . Madhesh remained without a medal when Koshi without gold won 3 silver.

Usuma Bagmati won 8 golds

Under President Running Sports, Usuma Bagmati has become the team champion with 8 golds . Bagmati also won 2 more silver and 1 bronze .

Sudurpaschim became the second in Usu at Rakhep's semi covered hall in Tripureshwar . Sudurpaschim won 3 gold, 7 silver and 2 bronze. Lumbini, which came third, bagged 1 gold and 2 bronze . Including 12 competitions, the remaining 4 provinces became without gold . On the last day, 8 golds were decided. Annex Maharjan won the gold with 6.48 points in Tai Chi Chwan's male category and Serina Parajuli with 6.79 points in female category. Both are from Bagmati.

Pradeep Bishta of Lumbini in 42 kg, Roshan Thapa Magar of Bagmati in 45 kg and Sushant Chaudhary of Sudurpaschim in 48 kg became the first in Sansau's men . In women's 42 kg, Diksha Saud of Sudurpaschim, Srijan Bik in 45 kg and Anu Moktan of Bagmati in 48 kg won .

Bagmati's victory in Taekwondo

Bagmati became the champion in Taekwondo. Bagmati bagged 7 gold and 3 bronze medals. In the competition held at the Taekwondo Hall in Satdobato, Sudurpaschim came second with 3 gold and 4 silver. Bagmati wins double title in Kabaddi

Bagmati has won a double title in Kabaddi under the Presidential Running Sports. Bagmati became the champion in both boys/girls.

Bagmati defeated Lumbini 44-30 in the student finals held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur. Koshi and Madhesh came third.

Bagmati defeated Lumbini by 29-25 in the girls' title clash as well. Karnali and Sudurpaschim were in third place.
