Bagmati Province won the title of 15th Central President Running Sports Competition on Friday. Bagmati became the overall team champion of 7 provinces with 36 gold, 7 silver and 11 bronze.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and organized by the National Sports Council (Rakhep), the champion of the previous edition, Sudurpaschim Province, was limited to the second place . Far West bagged 14 gold, 20 silver and 18 bronze. 11th, 12th and 13th edition title winner Lumbini region stood third. Lumbini won 5 gold, 13 silver and 15 bronze .

In the three-day competition, 686 athletes competed for 66 gold, 66 silver and 98 bronze medals. 9 junior national records were set in athletics in the competition. 10,000 prizes were awarded for each record. A total of 1.2 million cash prizes were distributed for each medal of the 6 games included.
