Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has on-site inspected the parapit and floodlight installation work under construction at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Sunday.

Prime Minister Oli announced on June 31st, as the first decision, to install parapets and floodlights at the cricket ground within 300 days. Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh, Secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development Gopal Prasad Sigdel, the implementing agency of the construction work, including the head of the Federal Secretariat and Management Office Chakraborty Kanth, the construction businessmen were present to him. He informed about the work progress.

Prime Minister Oli had written to the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Singh Darbar on the 22nd of Baisakh and discussed the progress of the work with the relevant officials and businessmen and instructed them to complete the work within the next two months. An agreement was signed with different contractor companies for the installation of parapit and floodlights on 19th and 22nd of December respectively.
