Grace Maharjan of Nepal Gymnasium became the overall champion in the first Pragya Smriti men's and women's physical fitness competition on Saturday. He got a prize of Rs 250,000.

In the competition held at the Nepal Police Club, Grace Men reached the final match by becoming the group winner over 75 kg. He got 50,000 separately for winning his weight.

Sumit Giri of Hammer Fitness in 60 kg, Kishore Limbu of B&L Fitness Station in 65 kg, Abhijit Rajwanshi of Body Garage in 70 kg and Suresh Munikar of Vyam Mandir in 75 kg won the competition organized by Pragya Smriti Foundation. Among men, the first prize was 50,000, the second 40,000, the third 30,000, the fourth 20,000 and the fifth 10,000.

Urmila Shrestha of Divine Gym won the women's open title. He  1 lakh cash prize.

The winner was awarded by former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, member-secretary of the National Sports Council Tanklal Ghising, director of the organizing institute Ganga Dahal and others.
