Netherlands batting first against Nepal

Netherlands will bat first against Nepal in World Cup Cricket League-2 on Wednesday. Netherlands captain Scott Edwards won the toss at Dundee's Forth Hill and sent Nepal to field first.

This is Nepal's second game in this series. Nepal had an incredible 1-wicket victory over Scotland in their first match on Monday. After Karan KC scored an unbeaten 65 runs, Nepal achieved the target of 297 runs in the last ball, chasing the biggest target in ODIs so far.

Netherlands batting first against Nepal Devrehate spinner Lalit Rajvanshi has been brought in the place of Devrehate fast bowler Rijan Dhakal in the Nepali team. Despite taking 2 wickets against Scotland, Reason reached 78 runs in 10 overs.

This is the first game in this series of the Netherlands. The Netherlands are in second place with 26 points from 20 games and are only 2 points behind the top team USA. Nepal is in seventh place with 8 points from 13 matches. The top four teams of eight nations participating in League 2 will qualify for the World Cup.
