It has been alleged that the badminton covered hall built at a cost of 4.5 crores of Barbardia Municipality is of 'poor quality'. The condition of the Covered Hall, which was built at a cost of crores, has become dilapidated within three months of its inauguration.
Water has started leaking from the roof of the covered hall constructed in Barbardia Municipality-6 Dhampur. Coveredhall was inaugurated in the second week of February. After seeing problems in the covered hall, which was built with a large investment, the locals are angry because of the poor work.
In addition to water entering the covered hall during the rains of the previous week, when the leaked video was released on social media, comments are being made that the budget of the municipality is like pouring on sand. Another allegation of the players is that the builders did not install the mats as per the standards.
The players complained that they were not happy with the covered hall built with the investment of the municipality. "After three months, we were saddened when we saw the rain pouring in and the mats not being according to standards," said the player, "The negligence of the builders has caused poor work, but the relevant authorities have remained silent." Jhalak Bahadur Giri, vice president of the Barbardia Badminton Club, said that the municipality had been informed about the problems in the Covered Hall.
The covered hall was built from Barbardia Municipality's 4.5 million grant budget, said Municipal Chief Chabilal Tharu. "Due to loose ventilation, rainwater entered the hall," he said. "There has been a complaint that the builders used substandard mats," he said.
Surkheti Khadka Nirman Seva did the work of the structure below and the trust above, while the matting and finishing work was done by Deepak Builder Kohalpur, said Govind Puri, officer of the planning and monitoring branch of Barbardia municipality.
"Which construction professional should open the computer to see the details of how much the budget has been worked on," he said. Vishal Khadka of Deepak Builder Kohalpur said that they did not do the work of
trust. Khadka claims that the covered hall was made from China and fitted with a standard covered mat.
