After a scoreless first half, Chatchawan Rodthong scored the first goal for Thailand in the 59th minute. It was a possible goal from a free-kick. After that, in the 74th minute, Jiraporna Mongkoldi added the second goal through Pichaytida Manewang's pass.
Manmaya Damai made her debut for Nepal in this match. Nepal had earlier lost 1-0 to Thailand in a closed stadium match. Nepal has gone on a tour to Thailand to prepare for the Asia Cup qualifiers.
