Cricketer Lokesh Bam has been honored with cash in his home district. On Friday, Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality of Doti honored cricket player Bam.
Kamal Bahadur Gadsila, chairman of the rural municipality, informed that Bam was honored with a cash prize of Rs 111,011 in the 'Matrubhoomi Mahotsav' program organized by the rural municipality as part of the Samridd Bogtan campaign. President Godsila said that Bom played an important role in making Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality known internationally through cricket and was honored with cash as an incentive.
Accepting the honor, cricketer Bam responded that he was excited by the love of the city. Bom, who was born in Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality-2, which is considered remote of Doti, has played many national and international games.
Lokesh, who grew up from Dhangadhi Cricket Academy, has played in Nepal's U-19 team, through domestic cricket, from senior level.
