Nepal will now play its second match against Hong Kong on 29th Baisakh. Along with the host Thailand, Nepal Bhutan, Kuwait, Qatar, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Bahrain and UAE are participating in the qualifier. Which are divided into three groups.
Nepal is in group 'C'. Hong Kong and Bahrain are in Nepal's group. Similarly, Bhutan and Kuwait are in Group A along with hosts Thailand. Group 'B' has United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia and Qatar.
group stage will be based on double round robin. All teams will play twice against the teams in their respective groups. The top team of the group will enter the Super Three. The top two teams after the league stage from the super three will make it to the global selection.
