The departmental team APF Club of Armed Police and Nepal Police Club will compete for the title in the Lumbini Cup.
In the second semi-final match of the Lumbini Cup International Invitational Women's Football Tournament held at Nepalgunj Stadium on Wednesday, APF Club entered the final after defeating Rautahat Football by 3-0.
Anita KC, Nisha Thokar and Sabita Rana Magar scored 1-1 in the second half for APF. Anita Casey of APF was Man of the Match in the match.
Police Club booked their way to the finals of the 1st Lumbini Cup International Invitational Women's Football Tournament by upsetting divisional rivals Tribhuvan Army Club 6-5 in sudden death. 8 teams are participating in the
competition, including the domestic team BAKE-11, Armed Police Force APF, Nepal Police Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, Karnali FC, Sudurpaschim FC, Siliguri Football Club, Rautahat District Football Association team.
The winner team of the competition held in collaboration with Banke District Football Association will receive 5 lakh 5 thousand 555 rupees and the runner-up team will receive 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees, trophy, medal and prize, according to the organizer Antral. The final match of the competition will be held on May 12.
