In the Lumbini Cup Invitational Women's Football Tournament, 8 teams including three divisions of Nepal and Siliguri Football Club of India are going to compete.

The prize money announced in the Lumbini Cup is the highest amount in women's football, the organizers claim. It is believed that the competition will help in the production of new players.

President of Banke Football Bhojraj Shahi said that the Lumbini Cup will help in the production of female football players in West Nepal. In the
