The 11th edition of Dhangadhi Half Marathon is going to be held on 1st Baisakh with the slogan 'Now Dhangadhi Runs'. On the occasion of New Year 2082, a competition is going to be organized by Dhangadhi Jaycees.
Deepak Gautam, program coordinator and vice president of Dhangadhi Jaycees informed that all the preparations for the competition have been completed.
According to him The winner of this year's marathon will get Rs 75,000 for men, the runner-up will get Rs 50,000 and the third place winner will get Rs 25,000. Similarly, the first winner in both categories of corporate and communication 5 km race for women will get 7,000, and the second will get 5,000 And the third place will get 2500 cash prize. The competition will be held separately between men and women. The main prize for the marathon winner will be awarded by Chaitanya Pathshala as the main sponsor. According to the organizer, forms are being distributed from different places for
participation. Dhangadhi Jaycees has been organizing half marathon program every year since 2014 is It The organizers believe that it will add new energy to the social and sports activities of Dhangadhi.
The marathon will start from Dhangadhi intersection and will pass through Geta Medical College, Manehra Bridge and again reach Milan Chowk of Dhangadhi and end at Dhangadhi intersection.
