Eighth National Women's Volleyball from May 10

The 8th Nerolek National Women's Volleyball Tournament is going to be held. Organized by the Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial Foundation, the competition will be held in Rakhep Covered Hall from 10th to 13th of Baisakh.

The participation of Nepal APF Club, New Diamond Sports Club, Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club in the competition has been confirmed, said Ranjan Khadka, President of the Foundation. Similarly, Khadka said that invitations have been sent to Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Center and Everest Volleyball Club for participation and the participation is yet to be confirmed.

The tournament with the technical support of Nepal Volleyball Association will be held on the basis of league less knockouts. The winner of the competition will get 499,000 and the runner-up will get 250,000 cash. The best player of the competition will get 50,000 in cash and the best setter, defense, server, libero, spiker and coach will get 25,000. On the occasion of the opening of the

competition, a national player will be honored with the 'Sher Bahadur Khadka Special Award' along with cash of 50,000, according to the foundation. In the event held on Sunday, the foundation has entered into a main sponsor agreement with the multinational paint company KNP Nerolac to conduct the volleyball tournament. Patron Gamali Khadka from the institute and Manoj Kumar Mishra, Country Head from Nerolec signed the agreement.

Volleyball Association President Jitendra Bahadur Chand said that this was established as a separate competition in Nepali volleyball. He said, 'For the players, this competition has been waiting. As a level competition or in terms of cash, this competition is at the choice of the players. President Chand said that the association is going to organize two big international competitions this year. According to him, the NVA award will be held on Friday.

Chairman Khadka said that since the foundation was established in 2070, he has been doing social work and organizing the tournament because of his father's interest in volleyball.
