The Church Voices Club of Kathmandu has won the title of Tilottama Gold Cup held at Butwal in Rupandehi. In the final of the 23rd edition held on Saturday, the Church Boys won the title after defeating the APF Club of the Armed Police with a margin of 2-0.

The church boys took the lead in the 20th minute of the first half of the final which was conducted in the afternoon at the Anfa Academy ground in Butwal. Richard Wilson scored for Church Boys. Wilson headed the corner shot by Raj Bhusal. The church boys dominated the game. In the second half as well, Church Boys continued their strong performance and doubled the goal difference. After Raj Bhusal scored in the 18th minute of the second half, the team's title claim was strengthened. 

After winning the title of 8 teams participating in the departmental and district competition, Church Wise has received 12 lakh 12 thousand 222 rupees in cash. APF, the runner-up, received 666,666 rupees. In the final, Raju Bhusal of Church Boys was declared the player of the match. He received 11 thousand rupees.

Similarly, Vishal Choudhary of Church Wise, West Defender Man Bahadur Rana of APF, West Midfielder Samuel Sunar of APF, West Striker Richard Wilson of Church Wise and West Coach Ashishik Thapa Magar of Church Wise were the best goalkeepers in the category. All the best have won 31-31 thousand and a trophy.  The best player of the

tournament was Aman Lama of Church Wise. He received the trophy along with a scooter. During a ceremony, Khelraj Pandey, Mayor of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, Tiran Gautam, Member-Secretary of Provincial Sports Development Council Lumbini, Dilig Bahadur KC, Central Vice President of ANFA, Nitesh Malpani, Director of Yashoda Foods Pvt. Ltd., Lok Pun, President of Rupandehi Football Association and others distributed prizes to the best players, winners and runners-up.

In the tournament that started on March 9, the organizer Current Rupandehi-11, Sankata FC, Machindra FC, Church Baiz United, Nepal Police Club, APF Club of Nepal Armed Police Force and two foreign teams Adorn Gadwal Sporting Club, India and Georgian FC India participated.
