Nepal Police Club and Bagmati clash in Prime Minister's Cup Cricket

Two matches will be played on Thursday in the ongoing Prime Minister's Cup ODI men's cricket tournament in Rupandehi.

Under the competition, a match will be played between the departmental team Nepal Police Club and Bagmati Province. Police and Bagmati will face each other at 9 am at the extratech oval ground in Tilottma.  In the

competition, the undefeated Police are at the top of the table with 12 points. By winning the sixth game in a row, Police Club is heading towards the finals. 

Police will be planning to continue their winning journey. The field will be under the captaincy of Police Dipendra Singh Airi, while Prithu Baskota will take over the leadership of Bagmati. 

It seems that Bagmati will have to cross the border to defeat the police, which has a majority of members of the national cricket team. Pusil is accompanied by all-rounder Airy, Kushal Bhurtel, Arif Sheikh, Karan KC, Gulsan Jha, spinner Lalit Rajwanshi and Sagar Dhakal in bowling. 

Lalit has been performing well in bowling. The morale of Bagmati is high after defeating Gandaki Pradesh by 69 runs in the last match. Bagmati will be planning to continue the same rhythm in the match against the strong team Police. 

Bagmati's Isan Pandey, Rijn Dhakal and Shubh Kansakar are expected to continue their excellent performance in the last match. Bagmati has four points after winning two of the previous five matches and losing three matches. Bagmati is at the seventh position in the points table. In the next match under the

competition, Lumbini and Karnali will compete. The match between Lumbini and Karnali will start at 9 am at Siddharth Cricket Stadium in Bhairawa. Dewan Pun will lead Karnali while Maidana will be captained by Lumbini Dev Khanal. 

Lumbini has won four out of six matches. He is third in the table with 8 points from 6 games. Karnali is in the fifth place in the table with four points from five games.
