The South Asian Football Confederation (SAF) U-19 Championship football tournament schedule has been announced.
The tournament, which will be held at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Arunachal Pradesh, India, will be held from May 9 to 18. According to the schedule announced today, Nepal will play its first match against Sri Lanka. The match will be held on the 11th of May. On the same day, there will be a competition between Bhutan and Bangladesh.
Nepal has been placed in group 'B' in the competition with 6 different countries participating. India and Sri Lanka are in Group 'B' along with Nepal. Similarly, Nepal will face home team India in their second match on May 13. The next match on the 13th will be between Maldives and Bhutan.
In Group 'A' of the competition, there are former winners Bangladesh, Maldives and Bhutan. In the opening match of the tournament, there will be a competition between Bangladesh and Maldives under Group 'B'. It is said that Sri Lanka and India will compete in the next match on the opening day.
