Nepal Vijam Mandir has announced that all preparations for the 17th Dharmashri Body Building Competition have been completed. Dharmashri Chait will be held in the capital from 7th to 9th.
The temple said in a press conference on Monday that the preparations for Dharmashree, First PL Singh Men's Sports Physics, First Women's Body Building Open and Master Open Nationwide Body Building Competition with a total prize money of 52 lakh 60 thousand have been completed. 6 different weight groups have been divided in the
competition. The competition will be held in weight groups above 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and 80 kg. About 600 players will participate.
6 players will be selected for the final stage from each weight group. Mr. Dharmashree will compete in the overall between the winners of each weight group. The winner will receive a trophy weighing 11 kg and Rs 12 lakh.
Second place will get 6 lakh, third place 3 lakh, fourth place 2 lakh, fifth place 1 lakh 80 thousand and sixth place 1 lakh 50 thousand. The second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth in the weight group will receive 50,000, 40,000, 30,000, 20,000 and 15,000 respectively.
Men's Athletic Physique and Women's Bodybuilding winners will get 2 lakhs and runners-up will get 1 lakhs. The third will get 70,000, the fourth will get 50,000, the fifth will get 40,000 and the sixth will get 30,000.
The open master winner over 50 years of age will receive 1 lakh in cash, while the second will receive 50,000, the third will receive 30,000, the fourth will receive 25,000, the fifth will receive 15,000 and the sixth will receive 10,000.
This time the men's physique competition was organized by the former mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. It has been done in the name of PL Singh. Kathmandu Metropolitan City is the main sponsor of Dharmashree. Narayan Pradhan, president of the organizing temple, said that the competition will be held on March 7th Weing, March 8th Pre-Jijang and the final stage on March 9th.
