Nepali National and International Athletes Association UK has honored Nepali ITF Taekwondo National Player Form Bahadur Mahat. Mahat's contribution in the field of sports and his participation in international competitions were appreciated in a special ceremony held at the Dolphin Eye Restaurant in Highwacom, UK.
Nepal's former world record Kyokushin champion Suraj Karki and association president Siddharth Vikram Chhetri formally welcomed Mahat. Mahat has come to participate in the International Seminar of ITF Taekwondo to be held in London. Also, he is going to compete in the World Championship to be held in Italy next October.
Gandaki Province ITF Taekwondo Nepal Chief Coach and National Performance Coordinator Mahat has been playing an important role in the development of Nepal's Taekwondo sport. President of the association, Chhetri, presented Mahat with a token of love and wished him all the best for the upcoming competition. Karki, vice president of
association, praised Mahat's dedication and said that his contribution to inspire and support Nepali youth through sports is important.
Mahat expressed his gratitude to the participants of the program and promised to perform well in the upcoming competition. The
program was attended by former national taekwondo player Rajesh Karki, UK-based businessmen, journalists and sports personalities.
