TIA, Dikshalaya, Chelsea World and Nexus Academy became the champions in the 3rd Nest Cup on Saturday. In basketball, TIA became the champion in senior boys, Dikshalay in girls and Chelsea in junior girls. Nexus became the winner in junior boys football.

Roshan Nagarkoti scored 26 points as TIA defeated Buddhist School by a score of 50-26 in the senior boys basketball final organized by Bhaktapur Nest School. The host Nist finished third. In the girls' final, Dikshalaya defeated NIST 23-20. Lakpa Doma Sherpa of Deekshalay scored 11. Chelsea finished third.

Lajen Sherpa scored 12 points as Chelsea beat Arya Academy 25-7 in the junior girls final. Nist finished third. Among the highest scorers in the final, Roshan, Lakpa and Lajen were declared the most valuable players in their respective categories.

In boys football, champions Nexus beat Golden Sungabha by 2-0 in the final. Viraj scored both goals. Viraj was chosen as the best player. Nistka Saksham Neupane became the top scorer. Golden Sunagabha's Nirmal Bhujel in defense, Arya's Prince Maharjan in goalkeeper and Nexus' Savin Ranjith in coaching were the best.

Nava Suntakhan won the title of Climate Champion organized with the aim of raising awareness about clean environment among students. Chelsea came second and Rajshree Gurukul came third. The winners were awarded by NIST Foundation Chairman Madhav Prasad Baral, Executive Director Rajendra Kumar Ghising, Chief Executive Officer Chandra Adhikari and others.
