Bagmati Pradesh Junior Full-Contact Karate Champion

Bagmati Province became the champion in the second National Junior Full-Contact Karate Championship on Saturday.

He became the champion by winning 6 gold medals in the Bagmati Championship. Karnali Province, which won 5 golds, came second. Karnali Province, which came third, won 3 golds.

Pako Nepal Kyokushin Karate Do-Sangh organized the competition in 14 weight groups for women and men. The

champion team was given a cash prize of Rs 25,000, runners-up Rs 15,000, third team Rs 10,000 and the fourth team Rs 5,000. Trophy was awarded to the winning players of the championship.

Suvarna Shrestha, member of National Sports Council, Rajendra Khadki, director of conflict, Vidur Parajuli, principal of Annapurna Vinayak School, distributed the prizes to the winning players. Sanju Maharjan, branch chief of the organizing association, said that 260 junior players from Bagmati, Koshi, Madhesh and Karnali provinces participated in the

competition.
