The 15-member Koshi State team under the captaincy of Ankit Subedi has been announced for the Prime Minister's Cup ODI Men's National Cricket Tournament.
The Koshi Pradesh Cricket Association has announced a 15-member team under the leadership of Subedi based on the performance of the qualifying tournament organized for four days. Sunsari became the champion in the
qualifying competition. Prakash Karki, Suman Gahatraj and Bhupal Luintel from Sunsari, who became champions, are included in the team. From Morang, who won the second place in the
qualifying competition, Dipesh Kandel, Firdosh Ansari, Chirag Shah, Saqib Haque and Shravan Kisku have been selected for the team.
Captain Subedi, Bipin Kumar Mahato and Sameer Karki from Jhapa are included in the team. Ice Bhattarai and Sonu Ansari are from Udaipur . Only Sandeep Dhungana from Eelam is included in the team . Rajkumar Pradhan, former leg spinner of the Nepali national team, has been given the responsibility of the team's coach. Koshi is scheduled to play the first match against Lumbini Pradesh at the Siddharth Cricket Ground in the Prime Minister's Cup cricket starting from Sunday. 10 teams including seven provincial and three departmental teams will participate in the competition.
