The KP Oli Cup is in the hands of Machindra Club for the third time with a 2-0 win over Tribhuvan Army Club
Machindra club achieved a rare historic success in domestic football in Nepal on Monday. Machindra has achieved this unique achievement by winning the KP Oli Cup for the third time in a row. Two-time champions Machindra defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 2-0 in the final of the tournament held at Dasharath Stadium on Monday.
Along with this, Machindra has scored a hat-trick on the title of the competition. Machindra also maintained his streak of consecutive wins in all three editions of the tournament. This year a goal in the final victory was scored as an own goal. The other goal was in the name of Stefan Jalli. Machindra took the lead in the 29th minute of the

Along with the title, Machindra won 15 lakh 11 thousand 111 rupees. The runner-up Army bagged Rs 5 lakh. 9 teams, including two foreigners, participated in the tournament organized by the National Youth Association of Nepal. Chiring Gurung of Machindra was the player of the match.
Machindra's Vishal Shrestha was selected as the best goalkeeper, while Army's Nirajan Dhami was selected as the Emerging Player. Stephan Jamaha of Machindra won the top scorer award. The best athlete in each category received 50,000 cash and a Yamaha motorcycle prize. Sanish Shrestha of Machindra got the best player award. He won one lakh and a Yamaha motorcycle. The winning team was awarded by Italian veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and others who were special guests.
