Nepali Women's Cricket U-19 captain Pooja Mahato and senior team member Kavita Kunwar have been appointed brand ambassadors of the Extratech Oval Cricket Ground.
Extratech Oval on Sunday appointed Mahato and Kunwar as ambassadors for the next 2 years . Vinod Kuvan, director of Extratech Oval, signed the agreement at the cricket ground complex located in Tilottama-17. After the
agreement, the player Mahato recalled that the close camp held at the Extratech Oval ground for the selection of the U-19 team was the golden moment of her playing life. She said that this appointment boosted her morale and made her focus on the game.
Roshan Singh, Central Vice President of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), said that two Nepali female players have become brand ambassadors of Extratech within CAN's protocol. He expressed his belief that this kind of support will play an important role in the development of players and cricket. In the
program, director Kuwan said that the future of Nepali women's cricket is bright. He said that if young players get the opportunity to play regularly, they can reach the level of a Test nation, so he has appointed an ambassador to encourage female players.
