Toranvikram Shahi maintained his lead from the start and won the title of Surya Nepal NPGA Tour Championship on Friday.

Toran shot an 18-under 270 overall with a score of 5-under 67 at the Gokarna Golf Course to win the title by one stroke over his nearest rival Neeraj Tamang. He won the title on the domestic tour after 12 years. Earlier, he won this competition in 2013. Toran received 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees. This is the third title of his career. Neeraj, who scored the same score as

champion Toran, scored 5-under 67 and finished second overall with 17-under 271. He received 1 lakh. Nepal's number one amateur golfer, Sadbhav Acharya scored a 7-under 65 in his best performance of the day. He finished third overall with a 13-under 275. He won the amateur title with this score. He beat Rahul Bick by 9 strokes.

Sanjay Lama finished fourth with an overall score of 3-under 69 and an overall score of 5-under 283. He got 75,000 for being third in the pro category. Amateur golfer Rahul finished fifth overall. Rahul scored 2 over 74 on Friday. He scored an overall score of 4 under 284.  

Dinesh Prajapati finished sixth overall with a 3-under 285. He scored an even par 72. Dinesh, who was fourth in the pro category, won 63,000. Nepal's number one pro Bhuvan Nagarkoti scored 1 under 287 overall with 3 over 75 on Friday. He won 53,000 by being fifth in the pro category.

Jairam Shrestha made a forgettable score of 8 over 80. He finished eighth overall with a 3-over 291. In the pro category, he finished sixth and won 46,000. Tank Bahadur Karki finished ninth overall with 4 over 292. He won 42,000 by being seventh in the pro category. Ramey Magar and Surya Prasad Sharma who scored 8 over 296 were tenth. They finished 8th in the pro category and scored 36,500 hands.

Toran was only one stroke ahead of Neeraj at the start of the final day. Neeraj gave a strong challenge. On the front nine, Toran shot three consecutive birdies on the third to fifth holes and finished the front nine at 3-under 33. Neeraj saved shots on the fourth and ninth holes. Finished the front nine in 2-under 34. Toran was 2 strokes ahead at the end of the front nine.
