Balan Bihul Saptari Tigers and Purbeli Super Kings won the two matches completed on Thursday under the Koshi Premier League cricket tournament.
Saptari defeated Bhokraha Narsingh Arnaz by 32 runs in the first match held at Doctor Khalil Azad Cricket Ground in Bhokraha, Sunsari. Chasing the same target of 125 runs given by Saptari, Bhokraha Arnaz was bowled out for 92 runs. For him, except Sandeep Dhungana who scored the most 25 runs, others could not perform satisfactorily .
After Ramnaresh Giri took 5 wickets for Saptari, Bhokraha suffered its first defeat in the ongoing tournament. Giri spent only 17 runs in 3.3 overs. Bishal Susling and Abhishek Karki took 2 wickets.
