Along with Myanmar, Nepal has decided to travel to the final of the Four Nations Cup on Thursday. The final equation was decided after Nepal beat Lebanon 1-0 in the match at Dashrath Stadium. After the second win in a row, both teams have equal 6 points. Now the final league match between Myanmar and Nepal will be held on Sunday.

The result will decide the team that will win the group. Before that, Lebanon and Kyrgyzstan will face each other and it will only be a prestige game. Both teams have lost two matches in a row and are on zero points. Myanmar defeated Kyrgyzstan 5-0 in the first match of the day.

Savitra Bhandari's lucky goal was decisive in Nepal's victory. In the 42nd minute of the game, Savitra's shot from outside the penalty area deflected into the body of Lebanese player Farah El Tayer and turned into a goal. The game itself was exciting and Lebanon presented a strong challenge to Nepal.

In the injury time of the second half, Lebanon's Jawa Arabi's shot bounced off the post and if it had taken the form of a goal, the equation of the game and the competition could have been different. This is Nepal's second victory over Lebanon. Earlier, Nepal defeated Lebanon in the semi-finals of the 2024 WAF Championship.
