Three Star Club has entered the semi-finals of the seventh edition of the Bagmati Gold Cup National Football Tournament-2081. In the second quarter-final match held at Shahid Smriti Stadium located in Bagmati-4 on Tuesday, they defeated Himalayan Sherpa Club 4-0 and entered the semi-finals of the Three Star Tournament. Sushil Rai scored in the 3rd minute, Naveen Lama scored in the 17th minute and foreign player Fofana scored in the 24th minute.

Threestar is the winner of the fourth edition and Himalayan Sherpa is the runner-up of the third edition. In the fourth edition, Three Star won the title by defeating the foreign team African Roots Association, while in the third edition, they lost to Himalayan Sherpa Jawalakhel Youth Club and became runners-up.

The winner of the competition, which will be held until February 12th, will receive 10 lakhs and the runner-up will receive 5 lakhs. According to the organizers, the best player of the tournament will be awarded 1 lakh 1 thousand and the best player in the category will be given 25 thousand rupees, and the man of the match of each game will be given a shield with 10 thousand rupees.
