Church Boys United has entered the semi-finals of the 7th edition of the ongoing Bagmati Gold Cup National Football Tournament-2081 at Makwanpur.

In the first quarter-final match at Shaheed Smriti Stadium located in Bagmati-4 on Monday, the departmental team defeated Tribhuvan Army Club by 5-4 goals in a tie breaker and entered the semi-finals of the Church Boys tournament.

The match was pushed to a tiebreaker after a scoreless draw at the scheduled time. Church Boys is a new team in the competition. Foreign players Armaan Widam, Sumit Shrestha, Dipesh Gurung, Sujal Dangol and foreign player Anayomi scored goals in the tiebreaker for Church Boys.
