National football team's record player Anjan Bisht is going to play Nepal Super League (NSL) from FC Chitwan. On Friday, Chitwan has taken Anjan as a 'marquee' player for the third NSL to be held from Chait 13.

Anjan, who scored a record 13 goals for the national team, played for Lalitpur City in the first season and Jhapa FC in the second season. "I am excited to join FC Chitwan and ready for the new season of NSL," Anjan said in Chitwan's press release, "I am looking forward to working with the players of my new team and am eager to bring success to the club." Naveen Neupane has been appointed as coach.

Sanish and Aditya in Lalitpur

Defending champions Lalitpur City FC have continued Sanish Shrestha and Aditya Shakya. NSL organizer Nepal Sports and Event Management had informed the previous day that there is a provision to retain before the auction of NSL to be held on February 10.

Sanish, who has played for the Nepali national team, has been retained from 'A' category and Aditya from 'B' category. Aditya was adjudged player of the match when Lalitpur defeated Dhangadhi City 3-2 in the final two years ago.
