The trophy of the second Koshi Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament to be held from February 5 has been announced. Dr. of Bhokraha Narsingh village. The 7 teams that will play the tournament that will last until February 17 at the Khalil Azad Maidan have also been decided.
The trophy of the single round robin competition was announced on Wednesday by Koshi Barrage Minister Panchkarna Rai, Forest Environment and Tourism Minister Sadanand Mandal and Bhokrah Narsingh Rural Municipality Chairman Ajmal Akhtar Azad.
Kosi Premier League Events Management is going to organize the tournament with the approval of Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) and the technical support of Sunsari District Cricket Association. In the last edition, the winner got Rs 5 lakh and the runner-up got Rs 3 lakh. Secretary of Sunsari District Cricket Association Govind Paudel said that the prize amount will be announced in a few days. Seven teams will compete in the
tournament namely, Purveli Super Kings Biratnagar, Sample Blaster Itahari, Duhbi Capitals, Balanbiul Saptari Tigers, NBSC Lainya Biratnagar, Itahari Adarsh Giants and Bhokrah Narsingh Arnaz. There will be a majority of national players in all the seven teams.
