Radiant Public and Whitefield have reached the quarterfinals of the 11th Excelsior Cup in senior boys' basketball on Monday.

Radiant defeated Nisarg Batika with a score of 54-37. Ravindra Khatri scored 26 in Radiant's win. Whitefield beat Radiant Readers 27-21 on Nehal Ansari's 14 points. Valley View defeated People's Academy 33-19 and LRI secured the quarterfinals by defeating Swarnim 40-39. Valley View's Ganesh Bahadur Bista scored 16 and LRI's Ryuchi Shrestha scored 25.

In the quarterfinals in the senior boys, the host Excelsior and Holy Vision, LRI and Nisharg Vatika, Valley View and Whitefield and Radiant Public and Swarnim will compete.

In the senior girls, the Ribs registered a comfortable 30-6 win over The Chandbagh and confirmed their place in the quarterfinals. Ribs' Supriya Malla scored 11. In the senior girls quarterfinals, Radiant Public will compete against Landmark Academy, Ribs against LRI, Swarnim against Galaxy and Excelsior against Chandbagh.

In boys futsal U-11, Excelsior defeated LRI 4-1 and entered the quarterfinals. Ojas Pathak scored all four possible goals of Excelsior.

In U-11, Chandbag defeated New Zenith 1-0 and reached the quarterfinals. Anubhav Aryal scored the decisive goal.

In U-9, Rye School managed to reach the quarter-finals with a double win. In the first match, Rai School defeated Culture by 2-0 goals. Aarus Bhandari and Abhas Regmi scored 1 each. In the next match, Rihan Shrestha's decisive goal saw Rai School defeat the host Excelsior by 1-0.

In U-16, Excelsior defeated Radiant Public by 3-2 goals and reached the quarter-finals as the winner of Group 'C'. Excelsior's Anisha Roka and Sarjak Aryal scored equal 1-1 goals and one goal was a suicide. Radiant's Survis Khadka and Vijesh Gautam scored 1-1. Radiant also entered the quarterfinals as group runners-up.
