Kushal Bhurtel's all-round performance continued and Friends Youth Club Dadeldhura reached the final of Arjun Trophy National Cricket Tournament. Dadeldhura defeated New Horizon Butwal by 5 wickets on Saturday due to the all-round performance of Kushal, the opening batter of the Nepali national team.

After Kushal took 5 wickets with a good bowling performance, New Horizon won the toss and elected to bat at the Phapla Cricket Ground and were bowled out for 82 runs in 16.1 overs. Arif Khan scored 20 off 16 balls with 2 fours and 1 six, Deepak Dumre scored 18 runs off 32 balls and Nischal Gyawali scored 14 runs.

Captain Dilip Nath 1, Prateek Shrestha 3, Viprasan KC and Nirmal Gurung were out for 4 runs. Tul Bahadur Thapa, Mahesh Bhar and Prince Pal could not open the account . Player of the match Kushal took 5 wickets with 19 runs in 3.1 overs. Ajay Chauhan kept 1 maiden in 4 overs and spent 7 runs for 3 and Hemant Dhami and Ashok Dhami took 1 wicket each. After Kushal scored 46 runs, Dadeldhura completed the target in 16 overs . When Kushal hit 6 fours and 2 sixes in 26 balls and was dismissed as the first wicket, the team's score was 56 runs in the seventh over. But then Dadeldhura reached 69-5 in the 12th over when Vinod Bhandari, Narendra Rana and Ashok Dhami were dismissed for 1 and opener Ayushman Bam scored 16 runs off 28 balls. 

But captain Sandeep Zora scored 6 runs and Kiran Thagunna scored 8 unbeaten runs and did not allow Dadeldhura to suffer any more damage. Prince of New Horizon spent 16 runs in 4 overs and took 3 wickets and Nirmal and Mahesh took 1 wicket each.
